Анотація
Розглянуто за літературними джерелами основні тенденції в динаміці площ лісів у світі та в Україні
(1990–2020 рр.), проблеми в боротьбі зі знелісненням та в запровадженні заходів щодо збільшення площ лісорозведення. Визначено роль підтримання рослинного біорізноманіття лісів у забезпеченні сталого розвитку країн та підвищенні ресурсного потенціалу економіки. Наведено дані щодо негативного впливу воєнного стану на економіку лісового господарства та лісопромислового сектору України. Визначено втрати від тривалих військових дій ресурсів деревини, доступних для використання лісовим господарством України, зокрема внаслідок пожеж, а також збитки, заподіяні екоцидом з боку РФ природно-заповідному фонду держави. Розкрито зміст екологічних, соціальних та економічних ризиків від втрати Україною біорізноманіття та їхній взаємозв’язок під час широкомасштабної російської агресії, запропоновано шляхи щодо зменшення негативного впливу війни на економіку лісового сектору та біорізноманіття лісів України.
