Анотація
Найвідомішою програмою моніторингу лісів у регіоні Європейської Економічної Комісії ООН, що передбачає моніторинг лісових ґрунтів, є програма ICP Forests. В Україні координаційним національним центром моніторингу лісів у рамках програми ICP Forests вже понад 30 років є УкрНДІЛГА ім. Г. М. Висоцького. У статті наведено основні принципи, методичні аспекти та проблеми з організації моніторингу лісових ґрунтів на всіх етапах його проведення відповідно до вимог програми ICP Forests. Спостереження проводять на ділянках моніторингу I та II рівня згідно з переліком обов’язкових і факультативних показників ґрунту. Ґрунтові дослідження складаються з декількох етапів: 1) натурний, 2) аналітичний, 3) верифікація результатів у лабораторних інтеркалібраційних тестуваннях. Натурні дослідження проводять за методикою польових досліджень ґрунтів ФАО (2006). Таксономічну назву ґрунту надають відповідно до Міжнародної системи класифікації ґрунтів на основі Світової реферативної бази ґрунтових ресурсів (World Reference Base for Soil Resources, WRB). Аналітичні дослідження здійснюють за рекомендованими стандартизованими методиками з використанням сучасних приладів. Верифіковані результати аналітичних вимірювань зберігаються в базах даних.
